Why Do I See a Different Sender When a Campaign Email Reaches My Inbox?

My Sender Name Just Doesn't Look Right

Your Snappy Kraken emails may look a little odd when you're sending content to yourself, either as a test email or if you subscribe to a campaign.

If you see something that reads: "Your name"="Your Domain"@snappyk."Your Domain".com, this happens because your email address is receiving this email from itself. However, it's being sent from a different mailing server than what you are currently on. So it decrypts the sender line to look like this. No external emails will look like this!

Your email may also read as "Office" or similar verbiage because that is how your email service provider is set up to read an incoming email from you.

Your contacts receiving your campaign will see the sender name as the "Professional Name" in your Account.

If you ever need to update this, you can click on the gear icon ⚙️ in the upper-right hand corner.
