Salesforce Integration Guide

If You Have Not Yet Connected Your Salesforce Account, There Are Many Ways to Do So!

Please note that not all features are available on all Enterprise platforms.

 

You can start by clicking the gear ⚙️ in the top-right corner to go to your Account.

  1. On the left-hand side of your account, click Salesforce Account to add your Salesforce credentials via the Connect button
  2. If you are not already logged into Salesforce, you will be redirected to a Salesforce login screen where you can enter your Salesforce username and password
  3. Click the Sign into Salesforce button
  4. You will receive a confirmation that your Salesforce account has been officially connected

After your Salesforce account is connected, you have a few options to automatically sync or import your contacts between your Salesforce campaigns and Snappy Kraken groups.

 

Automatic Nightly Sync: This allows you to perform a two-way sync of your contacts between Snappy Kraken and Salesforce automatically daily at 12 am Eastern Time. As part of the two-way sync, any information that's added or updated on contact in Snappy Kraken will also be updated in Salesforce. Additionally, suppose a new contact is added to Snappy Kraken and assigned to a group that is being synced. In that case, that contact will also be added to the corresponding campaign in Salesforce. If a corresponding campaign does not yet exist in Salesforce, we will automatically create the campaign with the same name as the group in Snappy Kraken.

 

Automatic Nightly Import: This is a one-way sync that updates the contacts in Snappy Kraken if any changes have been made to the contacts in the Salesforce campaigns selected for importing. If you select to import a Salesforce campaign that does not yet exist as a group in Snappy Kraken, we will automatically add that group and then import or update the contacts in that group with the latest information from Salesforce.

 

Send Leads to CRM: If a new contact is added to Snappy Kraken through a form submission, that contact will be automatically added to Salesforce as a new "Lead" if this feature is turned on.

 

Importing Salesforce Campaigns

If you have connected your Salesforce account and wish to import contacts to your Snappy Kraken account, please follow these steps:

  1. Start in your Account and go to Salesforce Account > Actions > Import
  2. Select the campaigns you want to import
  3. Select the Continue button to read and agree to the terms if applicable by clicking the Finalize Import button
  4. You will see a progress bar and an option to view Imported Contacts and your Import History
  5. When the import is complete, you will see a notification within the app, even if you have left the import progress screen

Syncing Salesforce Campaigns

If you updated a contact's information, added new contacts, and/or added new groups in Snappy Kraken, and you want these changes to be reflected in your Salesforce account, follow these steps:

  1. Start in your Account and go to Salesforce Account > Actions > Sync
  2. Select the groups you want to Sync or select Sync All
  3. Select the Continue button to read and agree to the terms if applicable by clicking the Finalize Sync button
  4. You will see a progress bar and have the option to view your sync history
  5. When the sync is complete, you will see a notification within the app, even if you have left the sync progress screen

Another method to import or sync contacts from your Salesforce campaigns is by navigating to My Contacts under the My Content section. Next, click on More Actions and select to Import or Sync.
