If You Have Not Yet Connected Your Redtail, There Are Many Ways to Do So!
Please note that not all features are available on all Enterprise platforms.
You can start by clicking the gear ⚙️ in the top-right, to go to your Account.
- On the left-hand side of your account, click Redtail Account to add your Redtail credentials via the Connect button
- If you are not already logged into Redtail, you will be redirected to a Redtail login screen where you can enter your Redtail username and password
- Click the sign-in to Redtail button
- You will receive a confirmation that your Redtail account has been officially connected
After your Redtail account is connected, you have a few options to automatically sync or import your contacts between your Redtail Tag Groups and Snappy Kraken groups:
Automatic Nightly Sync: This allows you to perform a two-way sync of your contacts between Snappy Kraken and Redtail automatically daily at midnight Eastern Time. As part of the two-way sync, any information added or updated on a contact in Snappy Kraken will also be updated in Redtail. Additionally, suppose a new contact is added to Snappy Kraken and assigned to a group that is being synced. In that case, the contact will also be added to the corresponding tag group in Redtail. If a corresponding tag group does not yet exist in Redtail, we will automatically create the tag group with the same name as the group in Snappy Kraken.
Automatic Nightly Import: This is a one-way sync that updates the contacts in Snappy Kraken. If any changes have been made to the contacts, the Redtail tag groups are selected for importing. Select to import a Redtail tag group that does not yet exist as a group in Snappy Kraken. We will automatically add that group and then import or update the contacts in that group with the latest information from Redtail.
Importing Redtail Tag Groups
If you have connected your Redtail account and wish to import contacts to Snappy Kraken account, please follow these steps:
- Start in your Account and go to Redtail Account > Actions > Import
- Select the tag groups you want to import
- Select the Continue button to read and agree to the terms if applicable by clicking the Finalize Import button
- You will see a progress bar and have the option to view Imported Contacts and your Import History
- When the import is complete, you will see a notification within the app, even if you have left the Import Progress Screen
Syncing Redtail Tag Groups
If you updated a contact's information, added new contacts, and/or added new groups in Snappy Kraken, and you want these changes to be reflected in your Redtail account, follow these steps:
- Start in your Account and go to Redtail Account > Actions > Sync
- Select the groups you want to Sync or select Sync All
- Select the Continue button to read and agree to the terms if applicable by clicking the Finalize Sync button
- You will see a progress bar and have the option to view your sync history
- When the sync is complete, you will see a notification within the app, even if you have left the Sync Progress screen
Another method to import or sync contacts from your Redtail tag groups is by navigating to My Contacts under the My Content section. Next, click on More Actions and select Import or Sync.
