How Will Facebook’s Domain Verification Requirements Affect Me?

Here's What to Do If You Advertise on Your Own Using Snappy Kraken Content

In response to Apple’s recent iOS 14 update, Facebook requires all advertisers to verify the domains on which they run pixel-optimized campaigns. The verification process involves ownership of the domain. Since Snappy Kraken hosts its landing pages on financeinsights.net, clients advertising on their own will be unable to verify the domain and run conversion campaigns using Snappy Kraken content.

To mitigate the immediate effects of this update on your advertising efforts, we recommend switching to Facebook objective types that do not optimize using a tracking pixel. Our top recommendations are the Lead Generation or Traffic Generation types.

NOTE:

The Lead Generation objective type is an advanced Facebook ads strategy, and we suggest you use Facebook’s Business Help Center and YouTube to educate yourself before attempting this strategy. If this objective is chosen, the leads no longer funnel through Snappy Kraken. Instead, they funnel into your Facebook account. Manual transferring of those leads will be required. Any opt-in follow-up emails that would be auto triggered with a landing page form will not be triggered in this instance.
